KLAUS MARTIN HOFFMANN was born in Germany and started his studies of arts, design and architecture in Hamburg, Germany. 1990 he received his degree in architecture with honors at the Beaux-Arts/Paris-La-Seine in Paris.

Competitions and conceptual designs within the top European design offices in France, such as Jean Nouvel and Santiago Calatrava, completed his training during the following years. Extensive traveling and the world championship of maxi-yachts completed his vision and standards. The honor to work with Hayan Sidaoui on the book "ISLAM and the evolution of categories of Arabian architecture" which was published in 1992, was the key experience for Klaus Martin Hoffmann for his future work, which is driven by his curiosity to surpass bounds and limits by connecting cultures.

In Berlin he worked with ARUP on the master plan of Berlin-Adlershof and realized in the following years major Projects for ECE, the No.1 Market-Leader in Europe for retail-, shopping- and mixed-use projects.

After having realized projects for NIVEA, ThyssenKrupp and BMW for their flagship stores, headquarters and brand-worlds, Klaus Martin Hoffmann founded in 2007, as a spin-off, "Hoffmann Architects" in Hamburg.
